As the word describes, we are talking about an inflammation of the mucus tissue covering the sinuses.
Sinuses are hollow bones of the forehead and maxilla connected with the nasal cavity.
The purpose of them is to control the temperature and moisture of the air we breathe and to serve as air isolators maintaining the temperature of the brain stable no matter the temperature of the environment where we find ourselves.
The sinus mucous tissue is well vascularized so when we are in a desert, it releases moisture as we breathe in, and when we are in a jungle where the air is very moist, it does the opposite and we have a sniffle.
In cold weather, it maintains the air inside of the sinus cavity warm t heat the incoming air as we breathe, and at the same time, it provides a temperature shield to the brain.
Now when you understand what are sinuses and their purpose you can easily understand what happens to sinuses if the blood is very toxic.
The mucous tissue will start dehydrating on the cellular level since the cells will refuse hydrating with toxic blood.
This will make them overly acidic and especially during the time when they have to moisturize the air, they will be forced into inflammation (forced hydration) to be able to do their designated task.
Some of the sinus passages are very small so when the mucous tissue inflames, the air passage closes.
The closed passage prevents the airflow and the pressure in the cavity may rise.
Increased pressure will affect the sensory nerves and we experience sinus pain/headache.

As you can see for yourself, many so-called diseases are one and the same thing affecting various tissues and systems of the body, and the culprit and the mechanism of them are exactly the same.
Maintaining our health is laughably simple if medical science would not complicate things just to confuse us so that they can rule over us.
